Interesting initiative by Apolinario Passos (Head of Machine Learning for Art and Creativity at Hugging Face). Documents opensource model, perhaps even closed source models in the future.
This is a great find. I love the idea of treating older generative models as cultural artifacts that people should still be able to experience. Curious which models people will consider most important to preserve.
Glad you liked it! Indeed, it’s something to keep alive beyond those Will Smith benchmark tests ahha. I used a ton of Dalle-mini and Dalle-2 in 2022 when people from OpenAI were giving away this beta testing access to artists, luckly I saved them all, boths prompts and images generated. I don’t think there’s a way to aceess the Dalle now.
