Brendan Dawes is a UK-based artist who uses generative systems involving data, machine learning, and code. A Lumen Prize and Aesthetica Art Prize Alumnus, his work has featured in exhibitions around the world at MoMA, ArtFutura, Big Bang Data, Brighton Digital Festival, and ZKM. Dawes’s work, Cinema Redux (2004), was acquired for MoMA’s permanent collection in 2008. His work, Three Steps Forward (2022), a collaboration with Emmet Cohen , will premier during NFT.NYC and feature in Christie’s upcoming charity NFT auction, “Cartography of the Mind: Christie’s Curated NFT Sale to Benefit MAPS .”
